Developed on a former industrial site at the gates of Geneva, the Etang district is carrying major regional challenges in terms of urbanization, mobility and environment. A “city within the city”, the project is exemplary from an energy and sustainability standpoint and meets the “Site 2000 watts” and Very High Energy Performance “THPE” labels. Due to its proximity to Geneva international airport, the project is also set to become a major urban interface with the city.
“Les Atmospheres” is a multifunctional super block truly emblematic of the Etang District. It is the heart of the community fully distinguishable from the motorway as well as the main avenue leading to the city center. This 95,000 m2 development is made up of an office building, two hotels, an apart-hotel, a serviced residence, a student house, leisure and retail areas and a major underground parking.
The exterior concept is fully part of the overall project. “Les Atmospheres” is generously landscaped. Terraces and hanging gardens significantly reduce the heat gain effect, and offer pleasant and varied exterior spaces to the users.
