Description
This biotechnology complex was built in Corsier-sur-Vevey. It comprises offices, labs and manufacturing units with bioreactors and clean rooms.
The project was a major challenge, with a footprint equal to two football fields and a budget of around 150 million Swiss francs. The metal structure, which supports the building and forms the modular facades with integrated catwalks, was designed with standardized elements that enabled fast execution and easy maintenance.
The project was led by Cahen-Juillerat Architectes, with the help of Y.Delmar, associate architect, especially for the elaboration of the construction details and the coordination with the client and the general contractor Foster Wheeler.
