Emaar has undertaken an impressive site development spanning 230 hectares on the north-Atlantic coast of Morocco, in the region of Tangier. This expansive master plan included two luxury hotels, an entertainment center with shops and restaurants, as well as a residential component with villas, townhouses and apartments (about 2000 units).

The project was meticulously designed to provide an aspirational lifestyle community, and to enhance the tourist and economic potential of the coastal area, while adhering to the principles of an environmentally sustainable coastal development.

The infrastructure’s design took into account the carefully studied local environmental factors such as, indigenous vegetation, climate change, centennial rains, sand erosion, and sea level rise.
